This tutorial was built for my MSIDT Master's final project. It comprised an interactive assisted learning environment which I called the CIS Tutor. It was named CIS Tutor because its design incorporated a dynamically implemented built-in tutoring component that would assist students in completing the step-by-step process of subnetting a data communications network with the use of just-in-time instruction (JITI). JITI was a technology I was developing at the time in hopes of improving success rates in e-learning environments.
It was built using the Travantis Lectora software for building e-learning projects. Unfortunately, at the time this project was being built, the Lectora software relied heavily on the popular Macromedia, later Adobe, Flash technology; which Web browsers stopped supporting years ago due to security issues inherent in the Flash framework.
